The Paleo Way is backed in history and science, and that’s where Nora Gedgaudas comes in, bringing 25 years of research and a life of experience: trials, tribulations, and celebrations.
Nora has played a large role in the development of this program, in meeting both technical and historical expectations. She has taken the principles and knowledge we’ve learned from our Paleothic ancestors and applied it to our modern day way of living. She is internationally renowned for her depth of knowledge and presenting, writing, and speaking about The Paleo Way of life.
Nora shares her findings in her international best-selling book, Primal Body, Primal Mind: Beyond the Paleo Diet for Total Health and A Longer Life. Backed by 20 years of her own research, questioning the mainstream and seeking out unbiased information on every topic she could, Nora presents a view without political, educational, or economic agenda.
Nora knows what she’s talking about because she’s lived what she’s talking about. A background in a medical family meant a certain life was expected of Nora, as well as experiencing a traditional western diet resulting in countless health setbacks.
She knew something wasn’t quite right with this way of living, and so her interest in nutrition grew. The research began, followed by lifestyle changes and before long, results: physical, mental, and emotional.
Obsessed with research, Nora spent the next 20 years looking into our Palaeolithic ancestors, through medical libraries, journal articles, and health stories. She explored a range of diets and studied further at the Nutritional Therapy Association. From here she turned theory into practice, adopting the way of eating that we now know as The Paleo Way.
Nora is constantly sharing her findings, educating people on The Paleo Way of life. Forever answering questions, and constantly asking them, she is an author, experienced nutritional consultant, speaker and educator. Her private practice can be found in Portland, Oregon where she is both a Board-Certified nutritional consultant and a Board-Certified clinical Neurofeedback Specialist.
